Trades We See You is a worker-recognition initiative associated with NSTALZ. This notice explains the information collected through this giveaway website.
What the form collects
For self-entries, we collect your name, email, trade, optional mobile number and optional story. For nominations, we collect the nominator’s name and email, the worker’s name and trade, an optional story and, only with permission, the worker’s email.
We also record the entry time, the landing-page version, campaign referral tags and your rules and marketing choices. The server uses a short-lived hashed connection identifier to limit abusive submissions. The entry database does not store your raw IP address. Our hosting provider may process technical request data to operate and secure the service.
How the information is used
Entry and nomination details are used to administer the giveaway, assess eligibility, follow up on nominations and contact the selected recipient as described in the giveaway rules. Entries are stored using Cloudflare’s hosting and database services, with access controlled by the campaign organizer.
Optional marketing
If you choose the email option, your own name, email and trade may also be used for news and offers from Trades We See You and NSTALZ. If you separately choose the text option, NSTALZ may send marketing texts to the mobile number you provide. You can enter without choosing either option.
A friend or family member cannot opt a nominated worker into email or text marketing. Sharing a nominee’s email for giveaway follow-up does not provide marketing consent.
You may withdraw email permission using the unsubscribe option in a marketing email, and text permission by replying STOP to a marketing text, or by contacting the organizer. Changing your marketing choices does not change your giveaway entry.
Stories and photographs
Please avoid submitting sensitive personal details in your story. Submitting the form does not grant permission to publish your name, story or likeness; any use in recognition content requires a separate agreement. The banner videos show real thank-you moments from our campaign. The supporting work photograph elsewhere on this site is representative stock photography, not a depiction of a previous giveaway recipient.
Retention and requests
The organizer’s retention period and contact information will be published before entries open.
